Senior Engineering Leader

This role involves leading the engineering team in project work, collaborating with other teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies to inform project briefs
  • Assemble design specifications aligned with client requirements
  • Maintain scope of works with relevant stakeholders
  • Determine building requirements and purpose of use in consultation with colleagues
  • Develop detailed designs according to client needs, including complex calculations and coordination
  • Review and ensure completeness of calculations, quality assurance and technical reviews
  • Promote accurate project costing and keep teams informed about design progress
  • Manage contracts documents and review input from team members
  • Lead the design process to deliver cost-effective solutions
  • Oversee a team of engineers and technicians
Key Competencies / Skills:
  • Proven experience in Building Structures design with significant leadership experience
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Full proficiency in structural software (RAM, CSC, ETABS, SAFE, STAAD)
  • Sound understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project
  • Fluent English with excellent understanding of technical terminology
  • Strong management, communication, and technical skills
