Job Description

Our team is seeking a skilled Team Leader to provide strategic leadership and oversee the delivery of project outcomes. This role involves stakeholder engagement, coordination with partners, and supervision of experts.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery, managing personnel assignments within budget, and coordinating project communications with key stakeholders.

They will also provide technical leadership, engage in stakeholder consultations, and prepare regular progress reports.

Additionally, they will ensure compliance with guidelines, project milestones, and contractual requirements.

As a leader, you will oversee management adaptations in response to changing project conditions and ensure administrative closure.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Environmental Policy, Economics, Forestry, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Proficiency in English and Hindi (B2 level).

The ideal candidate will have 12 years of professional experience in sustainability and natural resources management, 8 years in business development, value chain promotion, and market linkages, and 5 years of management/leadership experience as a project team leader or manager.

They should also have 5 years of experience in projects in South Asia and 2 years in projects in India.

In addition, they should have exceptional leadership, team management, and multi-disciplinary coordination skills.

Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation abilities are also essential.

Strategic planning and results-oriented approach are necessary to drive project success.
