About the Role

As a key member of our engineering team at Mindfire Solutions, you will play a vital role in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping us stay ahead of the curve in AI/ML innovation.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, to identify project objectives and develop strategies for achieving them. You will oversee the maintenance of our data infrastructure, ensuring it remains scalable, efficient, and secure. Additionally, you will stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and propose innovative solutions for integrating them into our operations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms that drive business growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to define project goals and develop strategies for achieving them.
  • Maintain and optimize our data infrastructure to ensure scalability, efficiency, and security.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in AI and recommend innovative solutions for integrating them into our operations.
  • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Adhere to strict data privacy and security protocols to protect our clients' sensitive information.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of AI projects, from conceptualization to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • A deep understanding of computer architecture, data structures, system software, and machine learning fundamentals.
  • Theoretical knowledge of machine learning, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
  • Experience with mapping NLP models (BERT and GPT) to accelerators and awareness of trade-offs across memory, bandwidth, and compute.
  • Hands-on experience with Vector databases like Chroma Db, Pinecone, PGVector or similar.
  • Expertise in Large language Models like GPT 3.5, GPT 4, Llama, Gemini, Mistral etc.
  • Experience in LLM integration framework like langchain, Llamaindex, AgentGPT etc.
  • Proficiency in Python development in a Linux environment and using standard development tools.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks (such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, Keras, Spark).
  • Working knowledge of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs), and Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs).
  • Hands-on experience training, tuning, and deploying ML models for Computer Vision (e.g., ResNet), and/or Recommendation Systems (e.g., DLRM).
  • Experience deploying ML workloads on distributed systems.
  • A strong sense of ownership, leadership, and teamwork.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills for effective communication and documentation.
  • A research background with a publication record.
  • Work experience at a cloud provider or AI compute/sub-system company.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.
  • At least 2-4 years of hands-on experience in AI/ML.
