The primary objective of this role is to provide strategic financial insights that support business decision-making and performance tracking. As a MIS Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all Management Information Systems (MIS) reporting functions within the finance department.
- Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cost analysis, and division-wise performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate financial and operational data from multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Develop dashboards and reports for management, investors, and key stakeholders, utilizing advanced Excel and relevant financial tools.
- Perform variance analysis, highlight deviations, and propose corrective actions to management, driving informed decision-making.
- Lead budget planning, forecasting, and performance monitoring activities, tracking key business metrics and identifying trends for operational and strategic recommendations.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial reporting through regular reconciliations and audits, maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- A Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA (Finance), or equivalent qualification is preferred, indicating a strong foundation in finance and accounting principles.
- A minimum of 3–6 years of experience in MIS reporting, financial analysis, or related roles, demonstrating expertise and depth in finance and analytics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial modeling, showcasing technical skills and adaptability.
- Excellent analytical, presentation, and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to deliver timely, accurate insights to senior leadership, driving informed decision-making and business growth.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality results and efficient operations.
