Job Title: Senior Data Architect

Key Responsibilities:

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within software development or software engineering
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex software projects on time and within budget
  • Technical expertise in software architecture, design patterns, and modern software development languages and frameworks

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with big data tools like Kafka and Spark
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases and designing and architecting data solutions

About the Role:

The successful candidate will lead large-scale data engineering, integration, and warehousing projects, building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs, writing complex queries to transform raw data sources into accessible models, and applying their expertise in the data engineering lifecycle.

They will partner with stakeholders daily to stay focused on common goals, lead teams in creating technical design specifications, architecture, and development plans for complex software projects, and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
