Welding Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Title: Welding Quality Assurance Specialist
A high-caliber Welding Quality Assurance professional is sought after to drive product excellence and optimize processes.
- Familiarity with advanced welding techniques, including TIG, MIG, GMA, and FMA
- Proficiency in quality management systems, such as ISO 9001:2008/2015
- Collaboration with welders and suppliers to boost product quality
- Supplier/Product Quality:
- Liaison with Purchase/Supply Chain to monitor supplier performance and implement timely corrective actions
- In-Process and Final inspections of goods
- Welding Expertise:
- Preparation and testing of welding procedures adhering to standards (EN-15085, ISO-5817, ISO-14002-3, ISO-15607)
- Detection and prevention of welding defects through collaboration with vendors and adherence to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Inspections and Certifications:
- Certification liaison with certifying agencies for product/compliance certifications
- Third Party/Customer Inspections coordination
- Proven experience in QA/QC with a track record of success in Supplier & Product Quality leadership
- ISO 9001:2008/2015 QMS Audits and other audits/certifications for OEM environments
- Exposure to various manufacturing processes, including EPDM/Rubber components, welding, die-casting, fabrication, tooling, injection molding, surface treatment (galvanization, powder coating, nickel plating)
