Project Manager Overview

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Project Manager for our Product Implementation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing the successful execution of a project from start to finish.

  • Prepare project plans and maintain base versions and latest versions, obtaining client approval as needed.
  • Establish communication channels with clients and internal management/project teams for all Symphony Implementation projects.
  • Triage requirements with the team and arrive at solutions or seek assistance from management to meet project committed timelines.
  • Lead entire implementation and close out on clients post-go-live, providing hand-holding support to the client through the support team.
  • Generate Change Requests wherever applicable and strive for additional revenues where it benefits the client.
  • Deliver client requirements and expectations within agreed project timelines, ensuring all objectives captured in SOWs are achieved with exceptional quality.
  • Ensure supporting teams like PE, Support, Annuities, Rules, and Paralegal teams are utilized when necessary for implementations as per agreements.
  • Engage/contribute to a minimum of 3 process improvement initiatives that enable project delivery and seamless client support.
  • Limit functional bugs to a set percentage for every implementation into Production.
  • Communicate with clients and management upfront about any mismatches in client requirements that may impact project schedules.
  • Maintain and provide relevant data for project status and progress whenever requested by management.
  • Train self/team members on Implementation processes and client data validation.
  • Hands-on experience in Project Management using tools and activities such as estimation, planning, costing, team timesheet maintenance, proposal preparation, RFPs, etc.
  • Good understanding of design/solution processes is an added advantage.
  • Hands-on experience in handling fixed-price projects and restricting scope creep/resource wastage.
