Network Support Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering technical support, troubleshooting network-related issues, and ensuring smooth IT infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operating System Management: Install and configure basic operating systems
  • Hardware Maintenance: Troubleshoot PC/Laptop hardware issues
  • Software Assistance: Provide assistance with Microsoft Outlook setup and other software applications
  • Network Assurance: Ensure network connectivity and troubleshoot related issues
  • Security Governance: Manage antivirus and endpoint security measures
  • Directory Administration: Perform user/group management, password resets, and other AD tasks
  • Remote Technical Support: Provide remote technical support to users
  • Asset Tracking: Manage IT assets and track inventory

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with OS Installation and Configuration: Familiarity with installing and configuring basic operating systems
  • PC/Laptop Hardware Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot common PC/Laptop hardware issues
  • Microsoft Outlook Setup and Support: Experience with setting up and supporting Microsoft Outlook
  • Basic Active Directory: Familiarity with user/group management, password resets, and other AD tasks
  • Printer and Peripheral Setup: Knowledge of setting up printers and peripherals
  • Networking Fundamentals: Understanding of IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and other networking concepts
  • Antivirus and Endpoint Security Management: Experience with managing antivirus and endpoint security measures
  • SCCM and BSOD Troubleshooting: Familiarity with SCCM and basic BSOD troubleshooting
  • BitLocker Encryption and Recovery: Knowledge of BitLocker encryption and recovery procedures
