Early Stage Investment Professional

A dynamic opportunity exists to join an esteemed organization as a skilled early stage investment professional. This pivotal role is integral to the investments team, where you will gain firsthand experience in evaluating high-potential startups and deep-tech firms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation and Due Diligence: Conduct thorough market analysis, assess business models, teams, and financials, identify risk factors, and evaluate competitive landscapes and funding histories.
  • Deal Sourcing and Management: Assist in identifying opportunities from founder networks, investment bankers, and the startup ecosystem, screen startups, review pitch decks, and conduct preliminary assessments based on evaluation metrics.
  • Portfolio Support and Engagement: Collaborate with portfolio companies, assisting in preparation of updates on the companies and supporting founders with research and go-to-market strategies.
  • Ecosystem Engagement and Networking: Attend industry events, demo days, and network with founders, accelerators, and fellow investors.
  • Internal Reporting and Documentation: Assist in preparing compliance documentation and internal records.
Requirements:
  • NISM Series XIX-D certification is mandatory.
  • Passion for innovation, venture capital, and entrepreneurship.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to assess market trends and business models.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Background in business, finance, economics, or related fields preferred.
  • Prior experience in startups, consulting, investment banking, or finance is a plus.
