Battery Energy System Designer

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing electrical designs for battery-based energy storage systems.
- Evaluate and develop PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA designs to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough due diligence to guarantee compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the USA.
- Lead project management of bids and projects throughout their lifecycle, including preparing FAT and integration test plans for BESS systems.
- Perform electrical testing using proper PPE and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training sessions and approved equipment.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in BESS system design and implementation.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field. PhDs in similar fields are also welcome.
- Excellent comprehension skills, including reading and understanding electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office software like Outlook, Excel, Word.
