Job Title: Salesforce Release Engineer

">Job Description:
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful deployment of high-quality releases. This involves performing release workflows and detailed steps to guarantee timely and effective delivery. Additionally, you will create and maintain processes for documenting releases, bug-fixes, etc., for mixed audiences including stakeholders and technical teams.

To achieve this, you will communicate and plan for high-risk deployments, ensuring that the support team is prepared to handle any issues. You will also define and manage change control processes for development and release readiness criteria, ensuring that all changes meet the necessary criteria before deployment.

Another critical aspect of this role is assuming ownership and continuous improvement of the release process. This includes documenting release issues and developing plans to improve the process or automation. Furthermore, you will ensure that SFDC scheduled updates are considered when planning the deployment schedule. By reviewing SFDC release notes, you will stay up-to-date on new features and communicate release progress/status to stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in release engineering with a focus on Salesforce
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and version control systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
