PCB Design Expert Wanted

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in designing and optimizing Printed Circuit Board (PCB) designs, with the ability to resolve complex issues related to reliability, schedule, and cost at internal or external PCB fabricators.

  • Read and interpret Electrical/Electronic Schematics to ensure accurate design implementation.
  • Generate detailed Fabrication drawings of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) and Gerber files (Artwork) for efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Design and develop high-performance/bandwidth PCBs by applying fundamental principles of circuit design.
  • Perform PCB layout for analog, digital, and RF circuit boards through fabrication and assembly drawings generation, ensuring seamless integration with other hardware components.
  • Be responsible for transferring schematic net-list design, ID, and ME design into the physical PCB design, considering electrical factors like signal integrity, power integrity, ID, mechanical integrity, EMC-EMI, safety, manufacturing industry specs, and end-user usability requirements.
  • Create and manage PCB documentation, including fabrication and assembly drawings, Gerber files, to facilitate clear communication among stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and approve PCB layout to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and fabrication documentation, following revision control procedures, to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
Qualifications:

Candidates should hold a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, design, electronics engineering, embedded system engineering, ECE, or ETC, with a minimum of 3 years' experience in using two or more PCB designing tools from the list: KiCAD, ISIS, ARES, Allegro, or similar industry-standard tools.

  • Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and materials, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues arising from them.
  • Excellent understanding of digital and analog circuit design fundamentals, including logic/board debug and analytical skills.
