Chief Female Medical Specialist

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities in an Obstetrics and Gynaecology department.
- Start outpatient sessions, ensuring a smooth flow of patients
- Conduct consultations and provide counselling to all outpatient patients
- Perform intrauterine insemination and sonography procedures as required
- Prescribe medications and requisition necessary supplies
The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
- Taking rounds with Assistant Doctors and nurses in the morning and evening
- Ensuring patient files are completed and up-to-date
- Reviewing daily orders written by Assistant Doctors
- Monitoring patient parameters and investigations
- Checking monitoring charts and consent forms
In addition to these responsibilities, the Obstetrician/Gynaecologist will also:
- Advise on necessary investigations and inform patients accordingly
- Address patient complaints and take corrective actions
- Ensure operative procedures are started on time and pre-operative preparation is done correctly
- Participate in operative procedures such as egg retrieval, embryo transfer, and hysteroscopy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. The ideal candidate should be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in performing IUI and sonography procedures
- Knowledge of relevant medical terminology and protocols
