Job Title: Medical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in performing various medical procedures, including IUI, sonography, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform daily tasks such as IPD and OT duties with minimal supervision.
  2. Conduct consultations with patients and provide necessary advice on investigations and treatment options.
  3. Prescribe medications and issue requisitions accordingly.
  4. Participate in rounds with Assistant Doctors and sisters to ensure patient care and monitor progress.
  5. Verify completion of patient files and check daily orders written by Assistant Doctors.
  6. Review parameters and investigations done, monitoring charts, and IPD and OT consents.
  7. Advise necessary investigations and inform patients accordingly.
  8. Address patient complaints and take corrective actions.
  9. Conduct operative procedures such as OPU, ET, and HLScopy, and schedule them accordingly.
  10. Ensure pre-OP preparation is done by OT sisters as per Pre-Op Checklist.
  11. Participate in washup, assist, or conduct OT tasks.
  12. Enter anaesthesia notes and write down OT notes.
  13. Provide post-OP orders to assistant doctors and conduct post-Op rounds.
  14. Perform post-Op counselling to patient relatives and ensure software entries for recording post-OP findings.
  15. Decide on patient discharge and prepare discharge papers with RMO assistance.
  16. Verify all IPD paperwork is complete and hand over files to HR.
  17. Attend emergency situations and seek senior gynac assistance when needed.
  18. Monitor and control clinical staff activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medicine or related field.
  • Valid medical license and registration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
