Job Title: Payroll Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing. This role involves ensuring compliance with labor laws and strategic support to HR and Finance departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing & Accuracy:
    • Oversight of the end-to-end payroll process, guaranteeing timely payment of wages, benefits, and bonuses.
    • Review payroll calculations, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, and allowances.
    • Monitoring and resolution of any payroll discrepancies or errors.
  • Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:
    • Ensuring adherence to federal, state, and payroll laws and tax regulations.
    • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws and employee benefits regulations.
    • Filing of payroll tax returns and government reports on time.
  • Payroll Reporting & Analytics:
    • Preparation and presentation of accurate payroll reports for management.
    • Analysis of payroll data and provision of insights to senior management.
    • Generation of required statutory reports within deadlines.
  • Employee Queries & Resolution:
    • Point of contact for escalated payroll-related issues and queries.
    • Timely and clear responses to employee payroll inquiries.
  • Payroll Systems & Process Improvement:
    • Collaboration with HRIS and payroll software systems for smooth payroll operations.
    • Identification of opportunities to streamline payroll processes and recommendation of improvements.
    • Coordination with IT and other departments for system upgrades or changes.
  • Payroll Audits & Documentation:
    • Assistance with internal and external payroll audits to ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
    • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date payroll records and documentation.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments:
    • Collaboration with HR, Finance, and other departments for integration of payroll-related data.
    • Support to the Finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting related to payroll costs.
