Reliable IT Operations Engineer

As a critical member of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our IT systems. Your responsibilities will include:

Incident Resolution:
  • Review and resolve incidents arising from Operation Command Center Alerts, Enterprise Monitoring Operations, OMNIBUS, and Splunk Alerts.
Change Implementation:
  • Deploy high-impact changes with enthusiasm for automating repetitive tasks through scripting or similar tools.
  • Develop an application deployment pipeline for deployment, fixing, and troubleshooting any issues during deployments except code fix.
Work Orders:
  • Resolve work orders in the form of business/functional queries, ad-hoc testing, verification, and validation from regional product teams and customer support teams.
Problem Management:
  • Identify problem tickets and build cases with developers after complete due diligence.
Monitoring:
  • Identify critical parameters from infrastructure and application perspectives, modify existing dashboards, and optimize alerts.
Automation and Improvement Opportunities:
  • Look for opportunities to automate services and achieve them through Python, shell scripting, or process-wise proposals.

Required Skills: Unix Shell Scripting, Jenkins, Git, Maven, Splunk, Dynatrace, ITSM - Incident, Change, and Problem Management, Postgres, SQL DB, REMEDY, JIRA, RALLY, Service Now, ANSIBLE, CHEF, XLR, Cloud administration - PCF/AZURE

Preferred Skills: Building Pipelines from Scratch, Building monitoring Dashboard from scratch, Java Environment, JVMs, Automation used cases, Microservices, Containerization - Kubernetes, Dockers, Cloud administration - AWS
