This role is designed to be part of our growing Portfolio Management team at Oxane Partners, where the primary responsibility involves working on client engagements that involve providing portfolio management services or reporting services to global institutional investors. The successful candidate will be responsible for working closely with clients to assist, monitor, and report key metrics of their investments.

The incumbent will be required to research across legal agreements, review key metrics, and liaise with trustees and other parties. They will also need to interact and coordinate with clients on the performance of the assets and underlying collateral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard the client's investment portfolio on Oxane's proprietary platform with the help of the IT team.
  • Work closely with clients to support them in monitoring the performance of the investment transactions across various asset classes.
  • Extract relevant data from financial statements, loan agreements, amendment documents, and other reports as required by clients or for analyzing the credit.
  • Monitor key scheduled events throughout the life of the loan, including Interest Payment Date, Maturity Date, Financial Statements, Insurance Requirement, etc.
  • Monitor and review borrower reporting, with a keen focus on underlying financial covenants and the legitimacy of borrower-reported income and expenses.
  • Run a waterfall on the Interest Payment Date.
  • Build financial models and reports as per client requirements and analyze historical performance to identify key drivers and assess the performance of trade.
  • Assist in the preparation of ongoing reporting as required by the client.
  • Present analytics to clients to match their expectations.

Required Experience/Skill Set:

  • Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict and aggressive deadlines.
  • Desired candidate must have graduated with an MBA or advanced degree in finance.
  • Prior experience with Investment Banks, Investment Management firms, or Financial Advisory firms, with CRE Loan Servicing being preferable.
