Oracle Database Administrator Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle database administrator to join our team. As a skilled professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage Oracle databases with expertise in Real Application Clusters (RAC), Oracle Dataguard, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and AWS.
  • Ensure efficient execution of database patching, performance tuning, and migration tasks.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts using Bash, Python, and Groovy for seamless deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver multiple projects on time and within budget.
  • Utilize Agile working practices, version control with Git, and project management tools like Jenkins and Terraform.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle database administration, including RMAN and OEM.
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or PL/SQL, Unix/Linux operating systems, and scripting languages.
  • Strong understanding of Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, and Git.
  • Ability to work under pressure, self-manage, and communicate effectively.
