ITT Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Purchasing Leader to manage daily activities, train and develop direct reports, and drive accountability for completing purchasing activities, managing site supply bases, and achieving site goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchasing activities such as floating RFQs, negotiating, defining payment terms, and customer requirements at the highest quality, best total cost, and shortest lead time.
- Managing site supply base; driving performance improvements in cost, quality, and supplier OTP.
- Actively participating and driving in the creation and achievement of site goals and objectives regarding direct material cost savings and margin enhancement, supplier delivery performance, inventory accuracy, freight in/out budget, and establishing and executing plans to meet these goals.
- Directly working with the extended Global Supply Chain organization to leverage Global Supplier Roadmaps or establish and negotiate Regional/site level material purchase contracts to drive savings and mitigate unfavorable price fluctuations.
- Representing the site in the creation of Global Supplier Roadmap strategies for direct material purchasing and managing local compliance to published Supplier roadmaps.
Requirements:
The incumbent should have more than 25 years of work experience in a manufacturing operation with exposure in and/or responsibility for purchasing, sourcing, materials management, and logistics.
