About the Role
As a R&D Water Proofing Chemist, you will be responsible for leading product development and testing efforts in liquid and solid water proofing products. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D./M.Sc./M.Tech in Polymer Chemistry, Material Science, or Paint & Coating Technology.

Responsibilities
* Develop and evaluate formulations and manufacturing processes for water proofing products based on SBR, Acrylic, PU, Bitumen chemistry, or paint/coating industry expertise.
* Collaborate with external technology sources, including academic institutions, consultants, test labs, material suppliers, and processors to qualify or develop new products/technologies.
* Work closely with Sales and Marketing, Purchasing, and other team members on project priorities and strategic development directions.
* Provide scientific explanations of experimental results through data analysis and support customers by offering requested test data or material evaluation reports.

Requirements
* Minimum 7 years of experience in product development and testing in the mentioned industries.
* Self-motivated individual who can perform day-to-day technical work with minimal supervision.

What We Offer
* Competitive salary (approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum).
