Business Intelligence Specialist

Seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Specialist to analyze and improve business processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis & System Enhancement: Understand fund accounting workflows, including NAV calculation, trade capture, cash/position reconciliations, performance fees, and investor allocations.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance fund administration platforms.
  • Process Optimization: Identify gaps, streamline reconciliations, automate manual processes, and improve data integrity.
  • Work with accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements.

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including NAV, accruals, P&L attribution, fee structures (management & incentive/performance).
  • Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process modeling, UAT, documentation.
  • Understanding of financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives (swaps, options, futures, FX).
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools for data analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills.
