We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Fund Accounting team as a Senior Financial Analyst. In this key role, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely Net Asset Values (NAVs) while performing various reconciliation tasks between client general ledger data and market data providers.

This is an excellent blend of product knowledge and technical expertise. As a senior member of the team, you will be accountable for coordinating with clients and external sources to resolve discrepancies. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing open-ended and closed-ended hedge funds, ensuring seamless reconciliation and integration of trades for clients.
  • Accurately accounting and booking corporate actions trades.
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly preparation of General Ledger and NAV reports, including:
  • Capital activity booking
  • Market value reconciliation
  • Profit and loss computation for financial instruments
  • Expense accounting
  • Dividend accrual reconciliation
  • Bond coupon accrual reconciliation
  • Trial balance ledger tie-up with sub-ledgers

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA with 5+ years of experience
  • In-depth understanding of US GAAP and IFRS financial statement preparation and review
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets products, including equities, bonds, futures, options, and FX forwards
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and formulas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Prior experience with general ledger accounting software and mutual fund accounting/audit would be advantageous.
