Job Title: Corporate Counsel

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to join our Legal Department. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in providing legal and compliance solutions to our business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled lawyer to work with a highly motivated team and contribute to the success of our organization.

The ideal candidate will have 8-14 years of relevant experience in a legal and compliance role, with a strong understanding of essential elements of corporate compliance programs. You will advise on regulatory compliance, data protection, and privacy legislations, as well as immigration laws in various regions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Management: Monitor risk and compliance issues, implementing risk mitigation/remediation solutions.
  • Policies and Procedures: Review and draft policies, guidance notes, and SOPs for regulatory compliance.
  • Data Protection and Compliance: Advise on data protection, privacy, and cybersecurity compliance, including incident management and record retention.
  • Cybersecurity and Risk Management: Support cyber security compliance and risk management, advising on disclosure requirements and interacting with external vendors.
  • Immigration Law Compliance: Advise on immigration law compliance in EU, APAC, and MEA, reviewing policy/guidance documents.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: LLB/LLM degree with relevant experience as compliance counsel in MNCs.
  • Skills: Knowledge of applicable regulations, independent project management, and ability to manage/support review and audit exercises.
  • Personal Qualities: Good communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills, with ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
