Senior Reinsurance Operations Leader

We are seeking a senior professional to take on a key leadership role in our Reinsurance operations team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a group of professionals supporting various geographies and engage with senior leaders on strategic discussions.
  • Broaden your expertise in Re-insurance broking domain as well as Leadership skills.
  • Implement Change Management initiatives as teams undergo system/process migration.
Expected Outcomes:
  • Achieve in-depth knowledge of the service within 30 days.
  • Demonstrate competency and establish good relationships with colleagues and stakeholders within 60 days.
  • Manage the team seamlessly with limited support within 90 days.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of technical/functional insurance and reinsurance concepts, terms, and contract clauses.
  • Basic knowledge of market practices within technical domain areas.
  • Build networks with external groups to increase knowledge of the technical area.
  • Responsible for operational issues within direct area of responsibility.
  • Able to lead team members in day-to-day operations to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Ensure Compliance adherence to internal and external regulators guidelines.
  • Manage migrations seamlessly, including system and/or work transfers.
  • Train team members adequately and maintain training documents/records.
  • Manage capacity planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure leave policy adheres to business demands.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews and appraisals within agreed timelines.
  • Identify and develop individuals for next level with IDP and support bottom quartile colleagues with Performance Improvement Plan.
