Cloud Security Expert

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the security and integrity of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud architecture, coupled with expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing robust identity and access management controls to secure user and system access.
  • Collaborating with cloud architects and developers to design and deploy secure cloud solutions.
  • Monitoring cloud environments for suspicious activities and threats using advanced security tools.
  • Automating cloud security processes using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Securing and encrypting data by providing secure secret management solutions.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

You will be responsible for building and maintaining custom Terraform modules to provision and manage cloud infrastructure. This includes staying up-to-date with the latest versions and enhancements.

Networking Concepts & Compliance Standards

A strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards is essential in this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud environment.

Containerization Technologies & Serverless Computing

Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing is required. You will work on designing and implementing secure and efficient containerized applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others.
  • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards in cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing.
