Job Title: Cloud Security Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Security Specialist to assume responsibility for designing and implementing secure cloud-based architectures. This role will involve developing and maintaining cloud security policies, as well as utilizing Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools to ensure compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of cloud security risks and controls, including the Shared Responsibility Model and Public Cloud native security tooling. Additionally, they should have experience with Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud-based architectures using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Maintain and update cloud security policies and procedures
  • Implement and manage CSPM tools to monitor cloud security posture
  • Familiarity with Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platforms
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud security threats and technologies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software and/or cloud platform engineering, particularly focused on GCP environment
  • In-depth understanding of cloud security risks and controls
  • Experience with CSPM tools
  • Familiarity with Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platforms
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in the financial industry
  • Practical experience in designing and configuring CI/CD pipelines
