Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned technology leader to spearhead the development of our cutting-edge battlefield AI vision platform.

This high-velocity role requires an individual with exceptional technical expertise and leadership skills to create the entire software ecosystem that transforms our advanced military object detection models into a production-ready, scalable platform processing satellite imagery and delivering actionable intelligence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement an image processing pipeline for automated systems
  • Integrate AI models seamlessly
  • Develop quality control systems for validation and review workflows
  • Establish a robust data management platform for storing, indexing, and retrieving intelligence data
  • Create an end-user interface for intelligence dissemination and visualization
  • Build a scalable infrastructure handling large-scale data processing
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years in AI/ML system integration
  • Proven track record of leading technical teams (2-10 developers)
  • Experience shipping production ML/AI systems at scale
Technical Skills
  • Backend Development: Python, Node.js, or Go for high-performance systems
  • Computer Vision Integration: Experience with OpenCV, PIL, and ML model deployment (ONNX, TensorRT, TorchServe)
  • Database Systems: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar for geospatial and metadata storage
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • API Development: RESTful and GraphQL APIs for system integration
  • DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, monitoring systems
Leadership Qualities
  • Ability to rapidly prototype complex systems and scale them to production
  • Comfortable making technical decisions with incomplete information
  • Strong understanding of the entire stack from data ingestion to user interfaces
