Job Title:

Capture Operational Efficiency in Coal Logistics

 

This role requires a seasoned professional to drive strategic procurement of coal logistics services and other ancillary services. The ideal candidate will have expertise in negotiation, contract management, and relationship building.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will operate and maintain multiple Thermal Power Plant networks by driving high reliability and efficiency in coal procurement and logistics.
  • The goal is to achieve optimum cost optimization through effective procurement activities and timely availability of coal.
  • The chosen individual will be responsible for embedding Environmental Social Governance (ESG) and risk-related processes in the organization and identifying mitigation measures against strategic, operational, and other risks.
  • They will continuously study the market and identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and better risk mitigation.
  • The selected candidate will also be responsible for long-term strategy formulation and deployment, monitoring domestic coal sourcing programs, and analyzing vendor performance.
