Our organization is seeking a seasoned Logistics Operations Specialist to oversee the entire supply chain from beginning to end. This role involves using advanced logistics management systems to maintain real-time visibility over inventory levels, transportation activities, and goods movement.

  • Act as the central point of contact for logistics stakeholders including suppliers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams ensuring seamless coordination and timely resolution of issues.

  • Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) and logistics metrics to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement generating reports and providing insights to support decision-making processes.

  • Proactively identify and address logistics issues such as delays, disruptions, or inventory shortages collaborating with relevant parties to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.

  • Stay updated on industry advancements to enhance control tower capabilities optimizing the utilization of transportation, warehousing, and distribution resources making recommendations for improvements in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.

  • Maintain accurate records of logistics activities including shipping documents, invoices, and compliance-related documentation ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, customs requirements, and company policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Previous experience in logistics operations, supply chain management, or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
