Job Title: Head of Occupational Health and Safety

A dynamic individual is sought to lead the occupational health and safety (OHS) strategy at a fast-growing manufacturing start-up.

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive OHS plan aligned with the organisation's business objectives.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
  • Investigate and analyse incidents to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in OHS performance by encouraging employee participation and feedback.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or a related field, along with minimum 5+ years of experience in OHS management, preferably in a metal and mining industry. An approved Safety Officer as per Odisha Factory Act is also required.
