Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a key role in managing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex networking problems.

You will work closely with level 2 support engineering to assist in customer deployments, recreate reported issues in lab, and investigate software and hardware defects.

Your expertise in advanced configuration recommendations, data traces, and debugging using protocol analyzers will be invaluable in identifying anomalies and determining solutions.

You will also be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a timely manner, documenting chronicle events, and creating solutions and FAQs.

This is a senior-level position that requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the data networking industry, excellent communication and organization skills, and a strong understanding of Layer-2/3 protocols.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with development, QA, and hardware engineering teams to drive improvement in software supportability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and resolve highly complex networking problems
  • Assist in customer deployments and provide advanced configuration recommendations
  • Recreate reported issues in lab and investigate software and hardware defects
  • Analyze data traces and debugs using protocol analyzers to identify anomalies and determine solutions
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving issues in a timely manner
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data networking industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and organization skills
  • Strong understanding of Layer-2/3 protocols
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced networking certifications (CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, or JNCIP)
  • Experience with firewalls, network security, and/or Application Delivery Switches (Server Load Balancers)
  • Demonstrated strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills
