Job Description

The Data Governance Manager will play a key role in designing and implementing data governance processes to ensure consistent implementation across the organization.

This involves working closely with the Data Governance team, business stakeholders, and technology teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies for effective data management.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data visualization platforms, and data analytics techniques.

Additionally, they should have experience with SAP ERP and associated data structures, as well as knowledge of procurement, finance, customer business processes, and data governance concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data governance processes to ensure consistent implementation across the organization.
  • Work closely with the Data Governance team, business stakeholders, and technology teams to identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies for effective data management.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data visualization platforms, and data analytics techniques.
  • Provide training and support to data owners and stewards to ensure they are equipped to carry out their roles effectively.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders and chair meetings/trainings related to data governance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, data visualization platforms, and data analytics techniques.
  • Experience with SAP ERP and associated data structures.
  • Knowledge of procurement, finance, customer business processes, and data governance concepts.
