Job Description

As a seasoned Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our databases. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining database systems to meet the evolving needs of our organization.

With 5+ years of professional experience in database administration, preferably in Information Technology (IT), software engineering or software development including cloud-based solutions and technologies, you will have a solid foundation in database concepts, data modeling, and query optimization.

Experience with open-source RDBMS databases - MySQL, RDS, CloudSQL Experience with No-SQL databases - Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Experience with Time-series databases - Prometheus Experience with HA & Disaster Recovery Planning & Implementation Experience with Database security Experience or knowledge of Dockers, Containers or Kubernetes

  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks, cloud-based access, and security controls Scripting language (bash, Perl, python) Ability to learn and use skills on continuous basis
