Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Database Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale database systems in the cloud.

The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud-based databases, including AWS RDS Aurora, and a strong understanding of relational database principles, SQL queries, and data modeling.

This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement database schema, including table structure, indexing, and relationships.
  • Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Optimize database performance through query tuning and indexing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize database requirements.
  • Ensure data security and compliance by implementing appropriate access controls and auditing mechanisms.
  • Maintain high-quality documentation of database design and architecture.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, including database design, normalization, and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with cloud-based databases, including AWS RDS Aurora.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
