Security Validation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Security Validation Specialist to join our team. In this key role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Test Planning: Develop comprehensive test plans based on detailed requirements to guarantee thorough system functionality testing.
  • Analyzing Complex Features: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex features through documentation review and collaboration with Development and Application teams to ensure a complete understanding of their functionality.
  • Test Case Design: Design and implement diverse test cases including functional, security, fuzz, negative, performance, and stress testing to validate system robustness.
  • Investigation and Analysis: Investigate and analyze test results in continuous integration environments, pinpointing potential vulnerabilities or issues.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the development team to debug issues identified during test cycles and create targeted test plans to ensure system security.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Software Development Expertise: Possess a strong background as a Software Developer or Software Developer in Test (SDET).
  • Computer Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals, including IP, Telnet protocols.
  • Cryptographic Operations: Experience with cryptographic operations, algorithms, and common security functionalities.
  • Programming Languages: Proficiency in C, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills with fluency in English (spoken and written).
Favorable Qualifications
  • Task Management Tools: Hands-on experience with task management and bug tracking tools.
  • Continuous Integration: Exposure to continuous integration environments.
  • Leadership and Coordination: Prior experience in team leadership and/or coordination.
  • IoT Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of the IoT domain.
