Job Requirements

We are looking for a skilled associate architect or architect to work on Azure Data Factory (ADF) projects. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in structured query language (SQL) and 5+ years of experience in ADF to manipulate data, implement database-driven solutions, and build applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop technologies for fulfilling user requirements for data loads, extracts, data dumps, and other utilities.
  • Write complex SQL statements for large-scale database reports.
  • Proficiency in Azure Data Factory, database design, and solution design.
  • Collaborate with data owners to establish data quality rules and definitions.
  • Implement data quality rules in data management systems.
  • Develop cloud data and analytics solutions, mentor junior developers, and build strong client relationships.
  • Hands-on experience in SQL/Azure SQL, ADF, ADF Dataflow, SSIS.
  • Participate in developing cloud data warehouses, data as a service, and business intelligence solutions.
  • Assist in preparing project plans and resource projections for all activities performed within the framework of a given project.
  • Maintain existing reports and changes via ticketing system.
  • Create new reports for existing units as well as new reports for migrations.
  • Work with senior project managers on data migrations, pulling data, transformation, and inserting into new databases.
  • Recommend modifications to development plans as requirements and needs deem appropriate.
  • Experience in Power BI and Fabric is an advantage.
