Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled technical support specialist to join our team. As a technical support specialist, you will play a key role in providing timely and effective technical assistance to our customers.

Your primary responsibility will be to resolve technical cases created by customers seeking help with ServiceNow software and platform-related issues.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, be able to build trust, show empathy, and employ creative problem-solving approaches to answer customer questions and resolve issues through various technologies.

You should also have a fundamental understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its core functionalities, as well as experience working with diagnostic tools to isolate potential causes of issues.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will be expected to manage and resolve challenging issues assigned to you, and may need to coordinate assistance from additional teams for more complex cases.

As a member of our team, you will also contribute to process and product improvements across business units, drawing on your unique perspective and experience working on technical issues for customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:


• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent degree and experience)


• 2+ years providing customer-facing technical support (ITOM applications)


• Good communication skills and ability to comprehend, modify server-side object-oriented JavaScript, Unix Shell scripting, and Windows scripting


• Ability in server administration across OS platforms (Windows/Unix) and understanding of user permission levels, domain configuration, group policy objects


• Strong troubleshooting/root cause isolation skills and demonstrated creative problem-solving approach


• Familiarity with tools & practices of the trade such as incident management, knowledge base, defect & escalation management


• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
