The Role: Music Educator

We are seeking an accomplished and passionate Music Educator to teach piano and western vocal music to students of all ages and skill levels.

About the Position:

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has a deep understanding of music theory, excellent teaching skills, and a knack for inspiring students of all ages.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to individual student needs.
  • They will also conduct regular assessments to track student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress is also a key aspect of the role.
  • In addition, the educator will collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and stay updated on industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Western music certifications such as Trinity College or ABRSM are essential.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience, although talented freshers can also apply.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills are required.
  • A flexible approach, capable of adapting to various individuals, is necessary.
  • The ability to teach both adults and children is a must.
  • Proficiency in teaching all music genres is also expected.
  • Familiarity with ABRSM, RSL, or Trinity College grade examinations is desirable.
  • Proficient in teaching all levels, from absolute beginners to advanced, is a requirement.
  • Competency in teaching music theory is essential.
  • Knowledge of music notation software and DAWs is a plus.
