Lead SQL Developer Job Description

Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Lead SQL Developer, responsible for designing and developing logical and physical data models to support application requirements.

The successful candidate will have strong experience with SQL Server, familiarity with data modeling tools and performance tuning techniques, and experience in environments with high concurrency and large-scale data access.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop database solutions to meet business needs.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformation logic between tables.
  • Collaborate with application developers to ensure efficient data access patterns and scalable database interactions.
  • Assist in scaling and managing the database from an application performance perspective.
  • Monitor and improve query performance, ensuring responsiveness under high load.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices for data access and modeling.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with data modeling tools and performance tuning techniques.
