About This Role

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Interior Design Director to lead our team in creating exceptional design experiences for clients.

This is a key leadership position that requires a strong blend of creative vision, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing high-profile projects and driving business growth through innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage design teams to create high-quality, innovative, and functional designs.
  2. Develop project briefs and drive client presentations to secure new business opportunities.
  3. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
  4. Mentor junior designers to improve their skills and knowledge.
  5. Collaborate with sales and design leadership to drive business growth and improve revenue streams.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in commercial and hospitality interior design.
  • Proven track record in leading high-profile projects with outstanding design quality.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with clients.
  • Deep knowledge of materials, costing, GFC details, and project execution.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and process orientation.
  • Ability to lead teams with entrepreneurial mindset and ownership.
  • Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
