Electrical Engineer for Design and Testability

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer with expertise in Design for Testability (DFT) to join our team. As a seasoned DFT engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our integrated circuits.

Your key responsibilities will include collaborating with ASIC design teams to develop and implement robust DFT designs that meet stringent testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop efficient test strategies to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Generate precise ATPG test patterns for stuck-at and transition fault models using advanced on-chip test compression techniques.
  • Verify MBIST functionality, including repair and test pattern generation using Mentor tools.
  • Conduct thorough ATPG and MBIST verification using unit delay and min/max timing corner simulations.
  • Work closely with Product/Test engineering teams to deliver high-quality manufacturing test patterns for ATE.
  • Support post-silicon debug efforts and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Develop diagnostic tools for ATPG, MBIST, and ATE bring-up, as well as maintain and enhance scripts as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 to 12 years of experience in ASIC/DFT - simulation and silicon validation.
  • Proven track record of working on full-chip DFT projects.
  • Detailed knowledge of DFT concepts, pattern simulation, silicon debug, and yield enhancement.
  • In-depth expertise in ATPG - coverage analysis and memory verification, repair, and failure root-cause analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as TestKompress, ETVerify, VCS, ModelSim, and scripting languages like Perl, shell, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work in an international team, and adapt to new tools and methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitask on high-priority designs.
