Job Summary

The Human Resources Director oversees the administration, planning, and execution of HR initiatives across the organization. This role ensures compliance with labor laws, develops personnel policies, and implements compensation programs.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and administers human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel
  • Plans, organizes, and controls department activities, participates in goal setting, budgeting, and objective development
  • Implements and updates the compensation program, conducts annual salary surveys, and analyzes compensation data
  • Develops and recommends personnel policies and procedures, prepares and maintains a handbook on policies and procedures, and performs benefits administration
  • Develops and maintains affirmative action programs, files EEO-1 annually, and maintains other records and reports to ensure EEO compliance
  • Oversees recruitment efforts for exempt, nonexempt, and temporary workers
  • Establishes and maintains department records and reports, participates in administrative staff meetings, and attends seminars
  • Maintains organizational charts and employee directories, evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department initiatives
  • Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assists with benefit plan design, communication, implementation, and issue resolution
  • Oversees employee relations issues, including investigations, mediations, resolutions, and terminations
