Information Security Lead Role

We are seeking a seasoned information security professional to assume the role of Information Security Lead. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive information security programs, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.

  • Develop and implement an enterprise-wide information security strategy that aligns with business objectives
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust security architectures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, encryption solutions, and other advanced security technologies
  • Lead the development and execution of security awareness and training programs for all employees, fostering a culture of security within the organization
  • Direct the identification, assessment, and mitigation of security risks across all aspects of our operations
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents and breaches, coordinating incident response activities to minimize impact and prevent recurrence

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • At least 7+ years of experience in information security roles, with a minimum of 2+ years in a leadership capacity
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing comprehensive information security programs in complex, multi-platform environments
  • Deep understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulations, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO/IEC 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management, security operations, and incident response
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent are highly desirable
