Job Summary

The Head of Finance - Controller will lead global financial reporting, statutory compliance, and internal controls. This role will ensure the integrity of financial operations, mitigate risks, and adhere to international regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee global accounting operations, including financial reporting, general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and compliance.
  • Ensure financial statements are prepared in accordance with IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing, consolidation, and management reporting.
  • Implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
  • Drive automation and improvements in financial reporting and ERP systems.
Finance Transformation & Process Improvement
  • Lead the digital transformation of the finance function, including automation, AI-driven reporting, and ERP enhancements.
  • Identify and implement best practices to streamline accounting, financial operations, and internal controls.
  • Drive process automation in areas such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and record-to-report cycles.
Regulatory & Statutory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, corporate governance requirements, and local statutory reporting across global entities.
  • Manage external and internal audits, ensuring audit readiness and resolving issues proactively.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance, accounting teams across multiple geographies.
  • Collaborate with business unit heads to align financial objectives with business strategy.
Qualifications & Experience

Candidates should have:

  • A qualified CA certification.
  • A bachelor's/master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of post-qualification experience in financial control and accounting, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.
Industry Expertise & Technical Skills

Candidates should have experience in:

  • IT services, technology, or multinational environments.
  • Financial systems and ERPs (SAP, ANAPLAN, Oracle or similar).
  • Managing audits, statutory reporting, and compliance across multiple countries.
