Senior Backend Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to lead the development of our full stack projects, architect scalable solutions and drive technical excellence.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will take ownership of backend architecture and development, guide a team of engineers and deliver high-performance applications. They will work on integrations, custom solutions and platforms like Magento, WordPress and Shopify, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead backend development using Laravel and modern PHP frameworks
  • Oversee projects involving Magento, WordPress and Shopify and related stacks
  • Collaborate with product, design, frontend and DevOps teams for end-to-end delivery
  • Evaluate performance optimization, code quality and effective documentation

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP with deep expertise in Laravel
  • Experience working with Magento, WordPress and Shopify
  • Knowledge of ReactJS, MySQL, NoSQL and MongoDB
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker and version control (Git)
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, especially AWS
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills
