IT Application Manager

Job Summary

The IT Application Manager will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of enterprise applications, ensuring seamless operations and high availability. This includes managing deployment, configuration, upgrades, integration, performance optimization, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an application roadmap in alignment with institutional digital transformation goals.
  • Establish governance standards, documentation, and compliance with IT policies.
  • Partner with academic leaders to understand requirements and deliver effective IT solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts/SLAs, and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Lead user adoption initiatives, including training and support.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accessibility across platforms.
  • Maintain compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity, and higher education regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (Master's preferred).
  • Around 15 years of progressive experience in IT application management, ideally in higher education or large enterprise environments.
  • Expertise in managing Salesforce CRM, ERP (Finance & HR), SIS, LMS, Library Management, and related systems.
  • Strong experience in application integration, vendor management, and IT governance.
  • Demonstrated success in leading teams and managing complex projects.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity, compliance, and digital transformation best practices.
