Job Title: SRE Engineer

The Role Overview

  • As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure and systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems and infrastructure;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues;
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce downtime;
  • Conduct thorough analysis and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve complex technical problems;
  • Implement capacity management strategies to ensure optimal resource utilization;
  • Work closely with development teams to optimize code and improve system performance;
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support and respond to production issues promptly;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve processes and systems.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SRE or related field;
  • Strong knowledge of Unix Shell scripting and its applications;
  • Excellent SQL and database skills, including database design and optimization;
  • Proficient in Java programming language and its ecosystems;
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions;
  • Experience with automation tools and frameworks, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef;
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their integration with on-premises systems.
