Site Reliability Engineer

About This Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity to join our team as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE). As an SRE, you will play a critical role in driving the adoption of DevOps culture and mindset within our organization. You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to build and improve our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, focusing on automation and reducing toil.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive the implementation of automation solutions to enhance system reliability and reduce toil.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and rollback processes.
  • Design and implement monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify potential issues.
  • Work closely with infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and performance of our systems.
  • Identify areas of improvement within our CI/CD pipeline and collaborate with the team to implement changes.
Requirements:
  • Strong programming skills with experience in API and Webhook development.
  • Proficiency in Cloud computing platforms, specifically AWS.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as JIRA, GitHub, Bitbucket, Artifactory, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of Lambda, Glue, and CDK.
  • Knowledge of cloud services including application integration, functions, Cloud Databases, data warehouse, and analytics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
