Team Leader Job Description

The Team Leader plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations within the Audit & Assurance Department. This involves ensuring timely client communication, quality work reviews, team discipline, and knowledge transfer.

  • Client Communication: Ensure daily updates on project status and timely reporting to clients.
  • Review Process: Conduct thorough reviews of team outputs (workpapers, audit reports, certifications) and maintain structured documentation.
  • Work Submissions: Track and consolidate daily work submissions from project leaders.
  • L&D Initiatives: Facilitate learning sessions and conduct knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Daily Huddles: Lead daily team meetings and periodic discussions with department heads.
  • Training Cascade: Pass down training received from senior management to project leaders.
  • Performance Benchmarks: Guide team members to achieve performance goals and maximize output.
  • Professional Conduct: Maintain discipline and professionalism at client sites.
  • Project Observations: Prepare and present project insights to senior management monthly.
  • Talent Development: Identify and nurture potential leaders across projects.
  • Backup Procedures: Establish internal project backups for smooth handovers.
Required Skills

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing audit work papers.
