Senior Backend Software Engineer

We're seeking an expert Senior Backend Developer to accelerate our digital initiatives and deliver top results.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Develop High-Quality Systems
- Work closely with the development team to ensure seamless integration with frontend technologies and databases.
- Implement robust security measures to protect against common web vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve bugs efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve existing codebases and architecture.
- Strong proficiency in programming language fundamentals, idioms, metaprogramming, and advanced concepts.
- Deep understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), mixins, blocks, procs, and lambdas.
- Familiarity with memory management, garbage collection tuning, and performance profiling.
- Experience with popular frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Grape, ActiveRecord, ActiveJob, ActionCable, and ActiveModel validations.
- Proficiency in deploying and optimizing application servers.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL and advanced usage of ActiveRecord.
- Ability to optimize queries, indexes, and query plans for improved performance.
- Experience with Bundler, Rake, Rubygems, Gem building, and custom gem publishing.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools.
